CrownPointe senior supper Thursday
CrownPointe Communities senior supper for May will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
Featured will be a Western theme with barbecue beef, onion rings, cole slaw, barbecue beans and a dessert.
Cost for the dinner is $6.50 per person.

Spring salad luncheon set for Thursday
The Christian Women’s Fellowship of the Sixth Street Christian Church, 146 N. Sixth St., Middletown, will host a spring salad luncheon on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The menu includes a serving of hot chicken casserole and an all-you-can-eat buffet of vegetable and fruit salads with a beverage for the cost of $7. Carryouts will be available.
Middletown library plans weekly market
A weekly Farmer’s Market is being planned, to be held each Saturday morning, from 8 to 9:45 a.m., in the parking lot at the Middletown Public Library. There is no charge to vendors; however, they are responsible for their own wares, tables, chairs, signs, clean-up, etc. and must vacate the parking lot by 10 a.m. when the library opens.
All interested participants are requested to call the library at (765) 354-4071, indicate items they plan to sell and the date they intend to begin.
Fresh vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers, honey, eggs, baked goods, craft, meat, cheeses, artwork, soap, etc., might be offered.

Church hosts pork loin dinner
The Helping Hands Society of Ford Street United Methodist Church will host a pork loin dinner on Sunday beginning at 11:30 a.m. in Smith Hall, 925 Ford St., Lapel.
The meal will include fresh roasted pork loin, mashed potatoes, gravy, choice of vegetable, roll, dessert and beverage.
A freewill offering will be collected with proceeds going toward the purchase of new kitchen furnishings for Ford Street’s new worship facility. For more information, call the church office at (765) 534-3314.
Boy Scout troop to host garage sale
Boy Scout Troop 208 will host its first garage sale on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the east parking lot of the South Meridian Church of God, Anderson.
Items included will be used furniture, clothing, toys, household items and much more. All items have been donated by family members and friends of Troop 208. All proceeds from the garage sale are earmarked for Troop 208’s treasury to help purchase additional camping equipment and supplies.
