Folgate’s Allstate receives award
ANDERSON — Allstate Insurance Company has recognized Allstate exclusive agency owner Steve Folgate with the Regional Champions award for high standards in customer satisfaction, customer retention and profitable business growth.
Anderson’s Steven T. Folgate Agency is now one of the top Allstate agencies in the nation in auto, property, commercial and power sports insurance and financial service sales. The agency is at 1232 Broadway, Suite 600 and can be reached at 642-2076.
Shoe Carnival offers deals
ANDERSON — Shoe Carnival customers will receive a “BOGO When You Want 2” card when they shop the Anderson store this Wednesday through Saturday. The card, billed as a way to help customers through tough economic times, will allow them to buy one pair of shoes and get another at half price anytime through Jan. 19.
The Anderson store is at 4636 S. Scatterfield Road.
New stores open at Castleton Square
INDIANAPOLIS — Simon Property group announced that two new specialty retailers, Vanity and Swarovski, will open at the Castleton Square Mall on East 82nd Street.
Vanity offers women’s fashion and its own denim line for both regular and plus sizes. Swarovski offers cut crystal and genuine and created gemstones.
Low Cost Mobility to move to vacant store
ANDERSON — A vacant former furniture store on Anderson’s southwest side will be the new home of an existing North Anderson business. Low Cost Mobility, which sells vans, scooters, equipment and goods to disabled or mobility-limited individuals, will relocate later in the year to the former McDonald’s Furniture Store. 
Low Cost Mobility owner Tim Livesay received Board of Zoning Appeals approval to operate his van dealership from the 20,000-square-foot store.
State contest looks for healthy employers
