Anderson man killed in motorcycle accident
MUNCIE — An Anderson man was killed while riding his motorcycle on the Muncie bypass.
Jason H. Shirley, 33, died from injuries he sustained in the accident.
His body was found after a Delaware County sheriff’s deputy spotted debris from a motorcycle on the road near Memorial Drive. Shirley was pronounced dead at the scene.
Initial reports indicated Shirley was not wearing a helmet and may have been traveling at speeds up to 100 miles an hour. There was no other vehicle involved in the crash, deputies said.
Shirley was a married father of three.

Yorktown Council sets special meeting
YORKTOWN — The Yorktown Town Council has called a special meeting for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the town hall to approve claims. An administrative session will follow with a 2010 budget workshop on the agenda.
