Big Wheel race set for July 23
ANDERSON — The Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled the Big Wheel 500 for Thursday, July 23, at the Shadyside Park parking lot beginning at 5 p.m.
This is for ages 3-6. Big Wheels are provided. Trophies will be awarded. No registration is needed. For more contact the Park Office at 648-6858.
Youth deal with grief at Camp Hope
ANDERSON — Registrations are being accepted for youth to attend Saint John’s Camp Hope, a youth bereavement project. Volunteers are also being recruited.
Camp Hope is for children and teenagers who have experienced the death of a loved one. Camp will be conducted Aug. 7-8 at the Boy Scout camp (Camp Kikthawenund), just outside of Anderson.
