• Anderson police arrested Jonathan A. Matt, 28, of the 600 block of Northview Avenue, Indianapolis, at 10:30 p.m. Monday at the Anderson Police Department on suspicion of check fraud, a Class D felony. Bond is $5,000.

• Anderson police arrested Jerry S. Collier, 34, of the 3100 block of Autumn Ridge Drive, Anderson, at 8:30 p.m. Monday in the 3100 block of Autumn Ridge on suspicion of arson, a Class D felony. Bond is $5,000.

• Anderson police arrested Michelle J. Johnson, 22, of the 500 block of Grant Street, Anderson, at 10:30 p.m. Monday at the Anderson Police Department on suspicion of check fraud, a Class D felony. She is being held without bond.

• Elwood police arrested Anthony J. Cole, 48, of the 1300 block of South C Street, Elwood, at 6:39 p.m. Monday in the 1500 block of South N Street on suspicion of three counts of possession of a controlled substance, a Class D felony. Bond is $5,000.

• Anderson police arrested Tricia L. Schoettmer, 34, of the 700 block of Central Avenue, Anderson, at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the 4500 block of Scatterfield Road on suspicion of theft, a Class D felony. Bond is $5,000.

• Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Stephen D. Stafford, 43, of the 40500 block of North McCoy Street, Indianapolis, at 11:50 a.m. Monday along northbound Interstate 69 near the 25-mile marker on suspicion of driving while suspended, a Class A misdemeanor. He is being held without bond.

• Lapel police arrested Matthew S. Selby, 33, of the 1500 block of North Main Street, Lapel, at 1:52 a.m. Tuesday in the 1500 block of North Main on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class A misdemeanor. He has since been released.

• Anderson police arrested Billy T. Ledford, 26, of the 700 block of Old U.S. 70, Ashville, N.C., at 8:42 p.m. Monday near the intersection of 10th Street and Madison Avenue. He has since been released.
