— Anderson police arrested Russell S. Holloman, 44, of the 100 block of West Vineyard Street, Anderson, at 7:44 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of West Vineyard on suspicion of battery, a Class A misdemeanor. He is being held without bond.
— Anderson police arrested Chris L. Hicks Jr., 34, of the 200 block of Freedom Way, Anderson, at 11:30 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of Broadway on suspicion of theft, a Class D felony; public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor; and possession of a controlled substance, a Class D felony. He is being held without bond.
— Anderson police arrested Christopher L. Cokley, 25, of the 2400 block of Chase Street, Anderson, at 11:15 p.m. Monday in the 2000 block of Brown Street on suspicion of battery, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond is $5,000.
— Anderson police arrested John M. Fletcher, 65, of the 1600 block of West 16th Street, Anderson, at 9:15 p.m. Monday near the intersection of 23rd and Main streets on suspicion of two counts of possession of a controlled substance, a Class D felony. He is being held without bond.
— Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Burchell L. Vaughn, 44, of the 4100 block of South 300 East, Anderson, at 6:46 p.m. Monday near the intersection of 23rd and Fletcher streets on suspicion of driving while suspended, a Class A misdemeanor. He is being held without bond.
— Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Warren D. Kirksey, 58, of the 2200 block of Arrow Avenue, Anderson, at 11:13 p.m. Monday near the intersection of 29th Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class A misdemeanor. He has since been released.
