---- — Florida Station to host Dan’s Fish Fry
ANDERSON — Florida Station Church of God, 1045 W. 375N, will host a Dan’s Fish Fry on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.
Tickets are $9 for adults; $5 for children (ages 5-12); and children under 5 eat free. This is for all-you-can-eat fish and tenderloin. Carryout and drive-through service will be available.
Proceeds will benefit Sonshine Day Care and Florida Station Missions.
Summer Picnic square dance, Sunday
ANDERSON — Square dancers are invited to a summer picnic dance on Sunday at the Rangeline Community Center, 1405 N. Rangeline Road, Anderson.
Caller will be Darrin Henry and the cuer is Don Brown. Pre-rounds begin at 6 p.m. and squares begin at 6:30 p.m. There will be a food table featuring summer picnic favorites.
The group dances the third and fifth Sunday of each month.

Gabby Abbey's hosting Car Show
PENDLETON — Gabby Abbey's Family Cafe, 777 E. Water St., Pendleton, will host a Trophies Car Show on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Entry fee is $10 per vehicle. Forty-five trophies will be given in the following classes: 1990-present; truck; Rat Rod; and Top Cars. Dash plaques will be awarded to 60 vehicles.
DJ Jazzy Jeff will provide the entertainment. There will be food, free wifi and a 50/50 drawing.

VFW Ladies Auxiliary serving up spaghetti
ANDERSON — The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 266 Ladies Auxiliary will host a spaghetti dinner from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the post at 3210 Columbus Ave.

AHS Class of ‘53 to gather Monday
ANDERSON — The Anderson High School Class of 1953 and guests meet for lunch at MCL Cafeteria at Mounds Mall the third Monday of each month.
This month’s meeting will be Aug. 19.
Legion hosting benefit ride for Paul Fields
FRANKTON — The Frankton American Legion will host a motorcycle benefit ride for the late Paul Fields on Saturday. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. with the first bike out at 11 a.m. The cost is $10 per rider and $5 per passenger.
A biscuits and gravy breakfast with fried potatoes will be available for $3 beginning at 8:30 a.m. The Fields Brothers Band will perform after the ride at approximately 6 p.m. Food will be available.
‘Lion, Witch & Wardrobe’ starts Aug. 23
MUNCIE — Muncie Civic Theatre will present “The Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe” on the Mainstage Theatre on Aug. 23-24, Aug. 30-Sept. 1, and Sept. 5-7.
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m. and the Sunday matinee on Sept. 1 is at 2 p.m.
