Sparks recognized at Indy program

ANDERSON — Jada Sparks, a real estate professional for Carpenter Realtors, received Top Sales and Listing Leader for 2013, along with many other awards, honoring her for her continual professionalism and dedication at the Carpenter Realtors Sales Rally and Awards program on Jan. 29 in Indianapolis.

Family LifeCare hires Steffen

MARION — Family LifeCare has hired a second pediatric nurse, Javon Steffen, for its Wings of Hope Pediatric Program.

Steffen, a Bluffton resident, is currently working on her MSN/FNP from the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne and is licensed in seven states.

She has extensive pediatric experience including Riley Hospital for Children and as a traveling pediatric nurse in Colorado, Florida and Wisconsin.

Family LifeCare serves qualifies patients in Delaware, Grant, Hamilton and Madison counties.

Energize-ECI hires Maloy

MUNCIE — Dennis Maloy has been hired as the new president/CEO of Energize-ECI Inc., the regional economic development partnership representing Blackford, Delaware, Fayette, Grant, Henry, Jay, Madison, Randolph and Rush counties, announced Lori Luther, board of directors chairwoman.

Maloy comes to Energize-ECI from Ivy Tech Corporate College in Bloomington, where he served as executive director since 2012. In that position, Maloy directed a team which identified and delivered workforce training solutions to a regional client base. From 2004 – 2012, he served as executive director of Hancock Economic Development Council.
