---- — Pet nail, microchip clinic planned

ANDERSON — The Madison County Humane Society, 2219 Crystal St., will conduct its monthly nail and microchip clinic and heartworm testing from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the shelter. The cost is $5 for a nail trim, $10 for a heartworm test and $20 for microchipping. No appointment is necessary. Pets must be on a leash.

Shrine Club to host chicken dinner

ANDERSON — The Madison County Shrine Club will have an all-you-can-eat chicken dinner tonight.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m. with serving beginning at 5:15 p.m. Cost is $9 per person.

The dinner is open to the public

The club will be closed from Dec. 23 to Jan. 6 for the holidays.

Chili supper set for Dec. 27

FRANKTON — The Frankton Dollars for Scholars will sponsor a chili supper on Friday, Dec. 27, preceding the high school boys basketball game.

Chili will be served in the high school cafeteria beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Adults, $6; children under 10, $3.
