Riverview Hospital hosts women’s health, wellness event

NOBLESVILLE — Riverview Hospital will host a Women’s Health & Wellness Event from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 18. Health information, screenings and assessments designed to educate and inspire women will be available. This event will include a variety of breakout sessions, health and wellness information booths, fitness demonstrations and a continental breakfast.

Blood pressure, glucose, peripheral artery disease and Pap screenings are free. The latter two may require preregistration and have qualifying guidelines. Other tests costing $10 to $99 will be offered.

Breakout sessions are:

9 a.m. – Polly Trainor, MD: Women After 40 – Midlife Transitions

9:30 a.m. – Felix Alva, MD: Women and Heart Health

10 a.m. – Cameual Wright, MD: Are Your Periods Running Your Life?

10:30 a.m. – Carolyn Cebalo: Pelvic Pain

10:30 a.m. – Adrienne Rasbach, MD: Hormones – Don’t Sweat It

The Women’s Health & Wellness Event will take place at the Riverview Hospital Women’s Pavilion (entrance 11). To register, call 317-776-7247. Payment for special screenings is due at time of registration.
