Minnetrista events Feb. 15

MUNCIE — Feb. 15 is Super Saturday at Minnetrista. Residents are invited to go from 9 a.m. to noon to Farmers Market and The Orchard Shop at Minnetrista.

Then join other families for Family Fun Day and enjoy a chocolate jamboree including a chocolate fondue fountain. Taste test flavors from local chocolate shops, paint a unique chocolate art piece, and walk through Minnetrista exhibit "Weird & Wonderful: 25 Reasons to Love Our Community."

Blood drive Saturday at K of C

ANDERSON — The Knights of Columbus, 1225 Main St., will host a community blood drive from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday.

The Indiana Blood Center bloodmobile will be there.

Coping with grief and loss

PENDLETON — Many people are suffering through grief and loss in their lives and are looking for practical ways to cope with their emotions.

The Pendleton Community Public Library is hosting a six-week workshop for those who are struggling through this process. The workshop will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday and will continue through March 14. During these six hour-long sessions participants will learn how to take care of themselves as they navigate through difficult life decisions. The series is facilitated by Christine Erotis, registered nurse and family counselor.

There is a fee of $15 for class materials.

Church offers Valentine’s Marriage Enrichment event

ANDERSON — Madison Park Church of God, Columbus Avenue and 67th Street, is offering a marriage enrichment event from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15.

The event includes two workbooks, a personalized computerized marriage assessment of relationship strengths and growth areas and a light snack. Cost $50. The classes are open to the public.
