Mainstage Theatre to have '9 to 5' auditions

ANDERSON — Anderson's Mainstage Theatre will host auditions for its production of "9 to 5: The Musical" this Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday audition hours are 2 to 5 p.m. at Central Christian Church, 10th and Jackson streets. Sunday, Auditions for Sunday have been changed to  2 to 4 p.m. at Anderson Public Library, instead of at Mainstage Theatre.

If you are unable to attend these times, email Director Tommy Thomas at tthomas1976@yahoo.com to arrange another time.

All casting will be done from auditions and those who could should be prepared to display vocal range and speaking voice. Candidates may use their own music and monologue or read from the script. Characters are described as "18 years old" (could be 16 depending on looks for ensemble).

Rehearsals begin Feb. 24 and will be held typically from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Performance dates will be April 3-5 and 11-13.
