Arrest Log: Jan. 2

Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Tuesday and Wednesday, based on Madison County Jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers, but are not final until the Madison County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Anderson police arrested Bonnie Rae Ashley, 41, of the 2100 block of Crystal Street, Anderson, at 12:57 p.m. Tuesday. Bond was set at $20,000 for a Class B felony dealing cocaine or narcotic.

Elwood police arrested Timothy Shawn Byrd, 36, of the 2500 block of North A Street, Elwood, at 4:39 p.m. Tuesday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class D felony domestic battery and at $5,000 for Class A misdemeanor domestic battery.

Anderson police arrested Johnny Frank Evans, 44, of the 1800 block of West 11th Street, Anderson, at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. No bond was set for a Class A misdemeanor for battery with no or minor injury.

Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested April Lynn Garrett, 35, of the 100 block of South Huston Street, Ingalls, at 8:34 p.m. Tuesday. No bond was set for a Class D felony for violation of in-home detention.

Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Brandon Dale Carmack, 35, of the 400 block of West Vinyard Street, Anderson, at 9:46 p.m. Tuesday. Bond was set at $10,000 for a Class C felony for nonsupport of a dependent child.

Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Drake Anthony Davis, 20, of the 2400 block of West 22nd Street, Anderson, at 10:34 p.m. Tuesday. Bond was set at $10,000 for Class D felony possession of a controlled substance, at $10,000 for Class C felony dealing a schedule IV controlled substance and at $10,000 for Class A misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.

Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Craig Allen Farler, 35, of the 300 block of West Seventh Street, Anderson, at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. Bond was set at $2,000 for civil contempt of court for child support.

Edgewood police arrested Angel Michelle Blanch, 36, of the 2100 block of Pearl Street, Anderson, at 1:41 a.m. Wednesday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class A misdemeanor conversion.
