Pacers visit Indianapolis VA Medical Center

INDIANAPOLIS — As part of the NBA’s Military Appreciation Week, past and present Indiana Pacers will gather from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday to visit the Richard Roudebush VA Medical Center.

The program was established to honor those men and women who have sacrificed their lives to protect this country’s freedom.

Current Pacers players Danny Granger, George Hill, Rasual Butler and Donald Sloan will team with Pacers legends Fred Jones, Darnell “Dr. Dunk” Hillman and Jerry Harkness and Pacers mascot Boomer on the two-hour visit.

Each patient will have the opportunity to take a photo and receive an autograph in addition to be given a Pacers T-shirt and hat, along with Pacers Popcorn.
