ANDERSON — Do you have a favorite “go-to” recipe for everyday or a special occasion? When you attend a pitch-in dinner do your friends insist you always bring the same dish because it’s their favorite?

Randolph, Crenshaw to address Triad

ANDERSON — Triad will meet at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the theater area of the Mounds Mall. Jay Randolph, the Veterans Affairs administrator, will be a speaker. Randolph will talk about benefits for veterans and their families.

Anderson Police Chief Larry Crenshaw will talk about the Senior Link program, which is a partnership between Triad and the Anderson Police Department.

There will also be discussion about a new bill sponsored by Sen. John Walsh, D-Mont., which is designed to change military policy in an attempt to reduce veteran suicides.

Church hosts egg drop on Saturday

LAPEL — Saturday, at Lapel High School football field, Indiana 32, The River church will sponsor an egg drop for children up to age 12.

Thousands of eggs will be dropped from the sky. This free event, 12:30 to 4 p.m., will include a huge egg hunt, bounce houses, face painting and pictures with the Easter Bunny.

Rain date will be April 26.

Easter bake sale at local church

ANDERSON — An Easter bake sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Gethsemane Foursquare Gospel Church, 2320 E. 38th St. (behind Walgreens at Scatterfield Road and 38th streets).

Homemade items will include cakes, pies, breads, cookies and candy.

Grandview Ladies to meet on Saturday

ANDERSON — The Grandview Ladies Golf Club spring meeting will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Grandview Golf Course.
