Boyce Systems hosting fundraiser for tornado victims

DALEVILLE — Boyce Systems will sponsor a dedicated blood drive and, along with Ritter’s Frozen Custard, will also hold a fundraiser for Moore, Okla., tornado victims on Friday, June 21, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at its facility in the Heartland Business Center, Indiana 67, Daleville.

Indiana Blood Center Blood Mobile will be set up in front of the building. The drive is to honor the memory of Kim Dent. Kim was a five-year employee of Komputrol, a software division of Boyce Systems.

Walk-in appointments are always welcome; however, you may also schedule an appointment for the blood drive by visiting www.donorpoint.org.

Ritter’s Frozen Custard will have a cart set up in front of the building during that time period. You will be able to purchase small or medium, chocolate or vanilla custard. Smalls will cost $2.50 and the medium will cost $3.50. Toppings will be available for an additional 50 cents.

Fifteen percent of the total custard sales on this day will be donated to Moore, Okla., tornado victims.
