Luncheons at Gruenewald House

ANDERSON — The first of a series of three summer luncheons at the Gruenewald House will be Friday. For reservations for 11 a.m., noon, or 2 p.m., call 648-6875.

The menu is turkey panini, cucumber sandwiches, mandarin spinach salad, bocconini, strawberry champagne cake, Butterfinger tarts and peach or raspberry iced tea.

Guest servers will be Ken and Judy Zinszer of Howard Webb Insurance and Real Estate and Zinszer’s Bakery and “Chad” Chadbourne and Ross Buckman, retired Anderson Community Schools educators.

Tickets are $10 per luncheon or $25 for the entire series, continuing July 19 and Aug. 2.

40&8 will host fish dinner Friday

ANDERSON — From 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Friday, the Madison County Voiture 510, 40&8, 1600 S. Rangeline Road, will host an all-you-can-eat fish dinner.

The menu will include Alaskan pollock, coleslaw, baked beans, green beans and rolls. Cost is $8. Carry-outs will be available.

June Bug Dance set for Saturday

ANDERSON — A June Bug Dance, a fundraiser for the Rangeline Academic League, will be 6-9 p.m. Saturday at the Rangeline Community Center, 1405 N. Rangeline Road.

Buddy Patterson will serve as DJ. Cost is $5. The event is being sponsored by the Rangeline Community Center and AIMS.

Car, motorcycle and truck show Saturday

ANDERSON — A car, truck and motorcycle show will be Saturday at the United Auto Workers Union Hall, 29th Street and Madison Avenue.

Registration will be 9 a.m.-noon, with judging starting at noon. Registration fee is $10.

Judged will be Top 20, Best of Show, People’s Choice, President’s Choice and Largest Club participant. Dash plaques will be awarded to all who register.

Food and drinks will be served inside.

Red, white and blue dance on Sunday

ANDERSON — Footloose Square Dance Club will host a “Red, White and Blue” dance on Sunday at the Rangeline Community Center, 1405 N. Rangeline Road.

Caller will be Gary Hutton and cuer will be Judy Mouton. Pre-rounds are at 6 p.m. and square dancing from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

The group dances the third and fifth Sunday of each month.
