---- — CMF to host Saturday breakfast

MARKLEVILLE — The Christian Men’s Fellowship East Christian Church will have its monthly all-you-can-eat breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday in the downstairs fellowship hall, 124 E. Main St.

The menu includes pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, juice and coffee, with a freewill offering accepted.

The church is handicap accessible.

Papa John’s heading to Heritage Days

FRANKTON — Papa John’s Pizza will be sold from a concession trailer at Eighth and Sigler streets on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of Heritage Days.

Pizzas can be purchased whole or by the slice. This is a fundraiser for the Frankton Community Food Pantry.

Vendors sought for Holiday Bazaar

PENDLETON — Rock Church Assembly of God, 6501 S. Indiana 67, is planning its fourth annual Holiday Bazaar to be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9.

They are currently seeking vendors for the event. They will also host a chicken noodles luncheon.

Funds raised from this event help provide meals to Alternatives of Anderson, compensate missionaries’ monthly support and support many women’s activities throughout the year.

‘World War II’ exhibit closes Sept. 27

ANDERSON — On Saturday, the Madison County Historical Society’s current exhibit, “WW II, The Home Front” will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to give those who work during the week a last chance to visit the exhibit before it closes on Sept. 27.

The History Center’s exhibit access door is located at 9 W. 11th St., and is open to the public at no charge.

East Lynn Christian to host fish fry

ANDERSON — East Lynn Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 522 E. 53rd St., will host a Dan’s Fish Fry on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.

All-you-can-eat fish and tenderloin will be served along with baked and green beans, homemade salads, dessert and drinks.

If tickets are bought in advance, they are $9. At the door, $10. Kids meals, ages 6 to 12, are $5.

Roosevelt breakfast set for Sept. 25

ANDERSON — Former students of Roosevelt School meet for breakfast at 8 a.m. at Perkins Restaurant the last Wednesday of each month.

The next breakfast is Wednesday.

Pet nail, microchip clinic planned

ANDERSON — The Madison County Humane Society, 2219 Crystal St., will conduct its monthly nail and microchip clinic and heartworm testing from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the shelter. The cost is $5 for a nail trim, $10 for a heartworm test and $20 for microchipping. No appointment is necessary. Pets must be on a leash.

Episcopal Church plans sale

ANDERSON — Trinity Episcopal Church, 1030 Brown-Delaware St., will have a rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The parish has gathered housewares, holiday décor, lots of books, children’s clothes, toys and much more.
