Local photographer earns top awards

ANDERSON — Nancy Bailey-Pratt of Nancy's Photography in Anderson earned the title, for the 11th consecutive time, of Photographer of the Year at the recent Indianapolis Professional Photographers Guild Fall Seminar.

The presentation was made at the IPPG's annual seminar held recently in Michigan City.

She was also named Top Children's Photographer of the Year. For the ninth consecutive year, she received the Kodak award for the highest scoring black-and-white image in the exhibit. She received the President's Award again this year, for the 10th time having the highest scoring print in the exhibit.

Her highest scoring print was made on a trip to Myanmar, depicting the Temples of Bagon. Her black-and-white image was a portrait of a man she found on the street in India.
