Recent donations push fund drive over $1,200

ANDERSON — Twelve new donations, bringing the total received to $1,545, were made recently to The Herald Bulletin’s Empty Stocking Fund, which kicked off Nov. 17:

  •  $50, Mr. and Mrs. William Howard Jr.
  •  $100, Dorothy Phillippe, in memory of the McCaslin family
  •  $20, anonymous
  • $200, Presbyterian Women
  • $25, Nellie Watson
  • $200, Charles and Hazel Dickmann
  •  $25, Deena Chambers
  • $100, Mary E. Jones
  • $50, Paula S. Bailey, in memory of Paul and Clytus Martz
  • $250, Max and Mary Markle
  • $20, anonymous
  • $20, anonymous

Empty Stocking Fund donations go to the Salvation Army to provide families in Madison County with living essentials throughout the year.

To donate to the fund, send or bring cash or check (made out to the Salvation Army) to Empty Stocking Fund, The Herald Bulletin, 1133 Jackson St., Anderson, IN 46016. Office hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

New donations to the fund will be published periodically until Christmas Day. For more information on the Empty Stocking Fund, call The Herald Bulletin at 622-1212. For information on the Salvation Army’s annual kettle drive, call 644-2538.
