Vacation Bible School set for Grandview Church

INGALLS — Grandview Church has announced the dates for 2013 Vacation Bible School for July 8-12 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for children pre-K through sixth grade.

This year's theme is "Daniel's Courage in Captivity." Kids will learn that God is with them when things change, when they need help, when they are afraid, when they're lonely and when they are thankful. The weeklong program will be filled with songs, crafts, games, Bible learning, snacks and more.

Grandview Church is located two miles north of Fortville, at the entrance to Summerlake Community on Ind. 13. For more information, call Gwen Strough at (317) 485-4169.

Pastor's Aide Annual Day set

ANDERSON — Church Upon the Rock is hosting a Pastor's Aide Annual Day on Sunday at 4 p.m. The host is Pastor Anthony D. Harris. Guest speaker will be Pastor Ocie Poole and the Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church.

The church is located at 303 E. 29th St., Anderson.

Central Christian offers C.A.M.P.

ANDERSON — The annual CAMP (Central Art, Music and Parables) will be in session in July. CAMP is a performing arts/Bible evening camp for children ages 4 through high school. Campers experience the stories, history and feasts of the Jewish nation while learning and rehearsing for a performance of "Fiddler on the Roof Jr." The performance is 7 p.m. on Aug. 3.

Campers also design and construct the set and costumes for the production. The camp is held at Central Christian Church, 923 Jackson St.

Sessions for those in second grade to high school are from 5:45 p.m. to 8 p.m. from July 22 to Aug. 2 For those ages 4 through first grade, the camp runs July 29 to Aug. 2 during the same hours. For information, go to www.central-christian-church.com or call (765) 643-6957.
