Antique bikes to be displayed at JamFest

ANDERSON — Christ Lutheran Church, 2751 N. Scatterfield Road, will host JamFest 2013 from 4 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Admission, parking and activities are free.

Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Blind Ministry. Enjoy live music by Carl Erskine and other local musicians throughout the evening, including Anderson University Doctors of Jazz.

There will also be a display of six or seven antiques bicycles from 1902 through 1972 with an additional four to six locally customized bikes built by local kids and adults. With the display, there will be bicycle safety quizzes for kids up to age 12. Taking the quiz will entitle them to a helmet (while supplies last).

Activities will include the Baden family Formula race car, tethered hot air balloon rides (weather permitting), police K-9 demonstration, magician, face painting, football toss, Snakehead Ed (animal handler) from the Minnetrista Center, and much more.

For more information, call the church office at 642-2154 or visit www.ChristLutheranAnderson.org or Facebook page. Send ideas for the Good Morning feature to newsroom@heraldbulletin.com.
