Quincy's Brass to play at Eagles
ANDERSON — The Anderson Eagles 174, 1315 Meridian St., Anderson, will have Quincy's Brass entertaining Saturday night from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m.
Flu shots available at walk-in clinic
ANDERSON — The Madison County Health Department, 206 E. Ninth St., Suite 200, will give flu shots at its weekly walk-in clinics.
For adults, clinics will be held every Tuesday from 8:15 to 9 a.m. and every Thursday from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Donation is $20.
For children (18 and under) with no health insurance or private insurance that doesn't cover the flu vaccination, clinics will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon, every first and third Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and at the Elwood YMCA, the third Wednesday of the month, from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
A community-based flu shot clinic will be held on Monday from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the Anderson City Utilities office for anyone aged 3 and older, whose insurance covers flu vaccine. Donation is $20.
Car show rescheduled to Sunday
PENDLETON — The Sons of AMVETS Car Show scheduled for Oct. 19 has been moved to Sunday.
Registration opens at 10 a.m. with judging at noon. Awards will be presented at 1:30 p.m. Entry fee is $10.

Benefit concert set for Sunday
ANDERSON — A benefit concert for the senior class Dominican Republic trip will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Liberty Christian High School.
A reception will take place after the concert.
Admission is free. A freewill offering will be collected.
FUMC to host chorale and wind ensemble
ANDERSON — Anderson First United Methodist Church will have the IWU Chorale and Wind Ensemble leading its 10 a.m. Sunday service in the sanctuary.
The church is located at 12th and Jackson streets in downtown Anderson.
Legion to host Sunday dinner
CHESTERFIELD — The Chesterfield American Legion Post 408, 5100 Mounds Road, will host a Rocky Mountain Oyster dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. (while they last).
