Otto to give pictorial tour
ANDERSON — The Madison County Master Gardeners Garden Talk “The Gardens of the Medici Villa” will be from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday in the Delaware Room of the Anderson Public Library, 111 E. 12th St.
Master Gardener and world traveler Milt Otto will give a pictorial tour of Italy’s famous Medici Villa gardens. Learn about the impact these 15th and 16th renaissance century gardens have on today’s garden designs. This is the fourth in a series of garden talks.

AHS Class of ’62 to meet for lunch
ANDERSON — The Anderson High School Class of 1962 will have its monthly luncheon at 11 a.m. Friday at The Edge Restaurant.
Spouses are invited.
Legion to host motorcycle ride
CHESTERFIELD — The American Legion Post 408, 5100 Mounds Road, will hold its second annual Past Commander Memorial Ride on Saturday.
Sign-up starts at 9 a.m. All bikers are welcome.
Blood drive to be held Friday
ANDERSON — A blood drive will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday in the parking lot of the United Auto Workers Local Union, at 29th Street and Madison Avenue.
Pet Parade Saturday in Falls Park
PENDLETON — The Pendleton Lions Club will host its annual Pet Parade at 4 p.m. Saturday. The walk will start out by the gazebo and continue along Pendleton Avenue to the big red barn.
There will be a pet contest, so dress your pet up. Following the pet contest, hot dogs will be available.
Microchipping will be available for $20 and nail trimming for $5.
MCHS to host Dog Adopt-A-Thons
ANDERSON — The Madison County Humane Society hosts Dog Adopt-A-Thons the second and fourth Saturday at PetSmart, 4216 S. Scatterfield Road.
Adoptable dogs will be on site from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
