---- — Church changes service times

DALEVILLE — Daleville Christian Church announces a change to its service time. Sunday morning worship will now be held at 9:30 a.m. with Sunday school and coffee fellowship following. This schedule will be kept through September, when it will be evaluated.

Anderson Zion Baptist Church sets VBS

ANDERSON — Anderson Zion Baptist Church, 2008 Rev. James T. Menifee St., Anderson, will have Vacation Bible School from June 24-28 from 9 a.m. to noon each day. The theme will be "It's All About Service."

Diocese of Central States’ Bishop to visit Greenfield

GREENFIELD — The Rt. Rev. Daniel Rogan Morse, bishop of the Diocese of Central States for the Reformed Episcopal Church, and his wife, Marianne, will visit Greenfield to lead a seminar sponsored by Paul’s Anglican Reformed Episcopal Church during the weekend of June 22-23.

A question-and-answer seminar will be held at the church today at 6:30 p.m., followed by a free barbecue dinner. The bishop will also celebrate Communion services on Sunday at the church at 10:30 a.m. Visitors are invited to attend.

Reservations for the dinner are requested, although not required, by emailing or by calling Grant at 448-5873. St. Paul’s Anglican REC is located at 20 W. South St., Greenfield.

Red Letter to lead worship

ANDERSON — Red Letter Worship from Lake Wales, Fla., will be leading the 6 p.m. service Sunday at Florida Station Church of God, 1045 W. 375N.

Red Letter is composed of five full-time students from Warner University who serve as the university's chapel band. They are traveling for six weeks this summer through several states leading worship and counseling at camps. Their goal is to share a message of hope and encouragement.

VBS set at Valley Grove

Valley Grove readies for Homecoming

ANDERSON — Homecoming at Valley Grove Free Will Baptist Church, 2996 E. Ind. 236, will be Sunday at 10:45 a.m. Special singing by the Mountain Laurel Band of central Indiana. Lunch will be served immediately after the morning service. The Mountain Laurel Band will also be singing after lunch. Pastor Joe Roysden and congregation invites everyone to attend.

Youth Day planned at Anderson Zion

ANDERSON — Anderson Zion Baptist Church, 2008 Rev. James T. Menifee St., Anderson, will have its annual Youth Day on Sunday, June 30, at 4 p.m. This year's theme is "It's All About Service," from Mark 12:29-31.

The speaker will be Minister John Woodall III or Christian Community Missionary Baptist Church of Indianapolis.

Pastor's 23rd anniversary to be celebrated

ANDERSON — New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 2318 Sheridain St., will have its pastor's 23rd year celebration on Sunday at 4 p.m.

Guests will be Pastor Earnest Randle and the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church of Richmond. Dinner will be served at 3 p.m. The host pastor is S.I. Foard.

First UMC hosts Brass Choir

ANDERSON — First United Methodist Church will be led in worship by the music of the Indianapolis Brass Choir at its 9 a.m. worship service on Sunday.

The service is scheduled to be held at Davis Park, 4507 Nichol Ave., Anderson; however, if there is a possibility of rain the service will be moved to the downtown sanctuary at 1215 Jackson St., Anderson.

Missionary Society sets program

ANDERSON — The Missionary Society of Trinity Baptist Church will have a program on Sunday, June 30, at 3:30 p.m. The guest will be the Rev. Edgar Woodall and Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.

Chesterfield Christian hosting VBS

CHESTERFIELD — Chesterfield Christian Church will host Vacation Bible School June 24-28 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. This year's event is called "Paul's Dangerous Journey to Share the Truth."

The event is for kids kindergarten through fifth grade.

Pre-registration and teamwork-building games will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
