Gruenewald luncheon Friday

ANDERSON –– The first Gruenewald House Summer Luncheon is Friday. Reservations can be made for 11 a.m., 12:15 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. by calling 648-6875 and leaving a message. Your call will be returned to confirm as reservations are required. The Grunewald House is at 626 Main St.

The menu will include, ambrosia chicken salad, Larry Hovermale’s fried green tomatoes, homemade brown bread with cinnamon butter, Irish creme cupcakes, and limeade. Cost of the luncheon is $15 and is payable at the door.

AHS Class of ‘44 celebrates 70th

ANDERSON –– The 1944 class of Anderson High School will celebrate its 70th year graduation anniversary at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, at the MCL, Mounds Mall.

Church youth sponsor fish fry

ANDERSON –– The youth of Anderson Zion Baptist Church, 2008 Rev. J.T. Menifee St., will have a Dan’s Fish Fry from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday.

The cost of the all-you-can eat meal is $10. Dine in or carry out.

PHHS cheer camp June 16-19

PENDLETON –– The PHHS Cheer camp is June 16, 17, 18 and 19 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at PHHS auxillary gym. Camp is open to K- 9th grade. Cost is $40 and each participant will receive a PHHS Cheer T-shirt.

Bell addresses bereavement group

ANDERSON –– Bob Bell, senior minister at Bethany Christian Church, will speak on “Walking Through the Valley” at 7 p.m. Thursday for the church’s bereavement support ministry.

The group meets in the Fireside Room of the church, 1920 N. Rangeline Road. Enter through the north door.

All sessions are free for anyone suffering the loss of a family member or friend. Refreshments and fellowship conclude the meeting. No reservations necessary.

MHHS class of ‘89 reunion July 12

ANDERSON –– Madison Heights Class of 1989 15th year reunion is set from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday, at Hoosier Park Racing and Casino.
