Soroptimists to gather for dinner
ANDERSON — Soroptimists Club of Anderson will meet for a pitch-in dinner at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home of President Judy Dick.

ANDERSON — Former students of Roosevelt School meet for breakfast at 8 a.m. at Perkins Restaurant the last Wednesday of each month.
The next breakfast is June 25.

ALEXANDRIA — Save $5 and get your amusement park ride bracelets early for the Madison County 4-H Fair, which will be held July 20-26 at Beulah Park in Alexandria.

Lupus 5K/10K Walk-Run set for Saturday
ANDERSON — The Minority Health Coalition of Madison County's second annual Lupus 5K/10K Walk-Run will be held on Saturday.
The Minority Health Coalition exists to enhance the quality of life through education advocacy, and quality healthcare services for racial and ethnic minorities.
Registration begins at 8 a.m., with the walk beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Shadyside Memorial Park (look for the purple/green balloons).
