Full Gospel VBS begins June 25

ANDERSON — Full Gospel Church, 5105 Columbus Ave., will have Vacation Bible School from 1 to 3 p.m. June 25-27.

'Weird Animals' is VBS theme

DALEVILLE — Daleville Christian Church, 14220 W. Daleville Road, will have a Vacation Bible School from 9 to 11:30 a.m. June 23-June 26. The theme is "Weird Animals — Where Jesus' Love is One of a Kind."

The evening family program will be at 7 p.m Thursday, June 26.

Pastor's anniversary celebration Sunday

ANDERSON — New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 2318 Sheridan St., will celebrate Pastor Shellie Foard and First Lady Seretha Foard's 24th anniversary.

Guest speaker will be Pastor Victor Richardson and the New Zion Missionary Baptist Church. The public is invited and dinner will be served at 3 p.m.

Southern Raised in concert June 28

ANDERSON — Southern Raised of Branson, Mo., will be in concert at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 28 at Parkview Church of the Nazarene, 911 S. Rangeline Road.

This group of three sisters and a brother perform a contemporary bluegrass gospel music style.

No tickets are required. A love offering will be received with a suggested donation of $10 per person.

VBS begins Sunday in Summitville

SUMMITVILLE — Summitville United Methodist Church, 600 E. Walnut St., will have Vacation Bible School Sunday through Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. The school is co-sponsored by First Christian Church (DOC), First Baptist Church (ABC) and the Wesleyan Bible Holiness, all of Summitville.

The theme is "God of the Waters" and tells the stories of Noah and the ark; the parting and crossing of the Red Sea; water and Moses and the rock; Jesus walking on water; and the baptism of a jailer.

The school is open to kids pre-K through 6th. Included are music, Bible stories, games, crafts, snacks, friends and fun. It's open to children of any or no church background.
