---- — Health center readying for Affordable Care Act

ANDERSON — The Madison County Community Health Centers (MCCHC) has tabbed Mike Casuscelli, former publisher of the Anderson Herald Bulletin, to head up efforts to expand the corporate business development efforts of the local health center.

This effort is made possible by the acquisition of a Federal Grant from the Health and Human Resources Administration because the Affordable Care Act is expected to bring millions of new patients into the health market including Medicaid, individual, and businesses.

"Casuscelli’s proven experience in the corporate world in multiple cities makes him a tremendous asset in heading this new strategic direction" said Anthony Malone, CEO. “After relocating to the area following his retirement and joining the J. Metzger Group along with his knowledge of the health center from his previous board of directors experience with the MCCHC are assets that will enable him to hit the ground running" Malone added.Casuscelli will also serve on the Center's strategic leadership team under the consultant direction of Dr. Jeffrey Buck, Anderson University, in the formulation on the center's revised strategic plan.
