ALEXANDRIA — Officers from the Madison County Sheriff’s Department responded to a single vehicle tanker truck accident on Indiana 128 near Alexandria shortly before 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

According to Sheriff Ron Richardson, Carson R. Estes, 26, of Anderson, was operating a 2005 Peterbilt sewage tanker headed west on Indiana 128. A police report indicated Estes over-corrected the steering and crossed over to the south side of Indiana 128, with the tanker leaving the roadway and rolling over on its side in the ditch.

Carson only received minor scratches to his hand during the accident.

Fort Wayne man wins $1 million, his third major Christmas lottery

INDIANAPOLIS — A Fort Wayne man has defied the odds. Roger Douglas claimed a $1 million prize on the Hoosier Lottery's new Million Dollar Holiday Scratch-off at Hoosier Lottery headquarters in Indianapolis Thursday.

With his $1 million win, Douglas has now won three significant prizes on a Hoosier Lottery holiday game.

Douglas and his wife own their own business and have no plans to slow down their work schedules — even though Douglas is technically retired. As for his winnings, Douglas said, "We'll probably save most of it."
