Schnepp qualifies for chairman’s award

PENDLETON —  Julie Schnepp, with RE/MAX Real Estate Services, has qualified for the RE/MAX Chairman’s Club Award in 2012, which honors successful agents in the RE/MAX network. Schnepp has been working in the real estate industry for more than 23 years and has extensive experience in negotiating and seeing that your home gets to the closing table and beyond. Among Schnepp’s list of achievements, she has earned Rookie of the year at Better Homes and Gardens, RE/MAX Presidents Club, Sagamore Club, Platinum Club, Hall of Fame, and most recently Lifetime Achievement Award. She has also become awarded Top 5 in Real Estate at a national level.

Community Hospital employee receives honor

ANDERSON — Mark Eley, registered polysomnography technologist in Community Hospital Anderson’s Sleep Disorders Center, recently received the A2zz Literary Award from the American Association of Sleep Technologies (AAST)

The A2zz Literary Award was established in 2002 and is presented to a member of the AAST for recognition of an original article published in the A2zz deemed to represent excellence in technical literary writing by a sleep technologist.  Eley was nominated for his article titled: “Health Informatics and the Sleep Technology Profession.”   Mark will travel to Baltimore in June to receive his award at an AAST award ceremony.  

Eley is a registered polysomnography technologist, registered respiratory therapist, registered pulmonary functions and neonatal pediatric respiratory specialist.

Community Health names new VP

INDIANAPOLIS — Pamela London has been named vice president of cardiovascular services for Community Health Network and will oversee the health system’s patient-centered cardiovascular programs and operations. London begins her role on April 29.

London will work in collaboration with Community’s cardiovascular medical directors and other senior leaders to align and facilitate strategic and operational direction. She will lead strategic planning efforts to emphasize clinical excellence, consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences and facilitate innovation and profitable growth.

London is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, London, Canada, and earned a B.S. in nursing. Clinically, her career began in trauma and cardiovascular ICU and she then transitioned into leadership roles. She initiated and successfully launched Cleveland Clinic Canada, where she was responsible for researching and developing health care opportunities in Canada. She also managed the Department of Surgery for University Hospitals of Cleveland and served as an executive director for Sunrise Senior Living Inc.
