Second Chance hosts Sunday breakfast

ANDERSON — Second Chance Baptist Church, 720 E. 7th St., will serve a free all-you-can-eat breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at the church.

The church's Easter service and Kids Day giveaway will begin at 11 a.m. All are welcome. Call Pastor Mike ahead of time at (765) 617-6078 if your family needs a ride.

Heritage Days all-day fundraiser May 3

FRANKTON — The Frankton Heritage Days Festival committee will host an all-day fundraiser Saturday, May 3 beginning with a breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. The meal will include biscuits and sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, hash browns, coffee, juice or milk for $3.50 for adults and $2 for children under the age of 10.

At 11 a.m. an auction with donated items from various merchants will conducted. From from 4 to 7 p.m. an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner with garlic bread, salad, desserts and drinks will be served. Adults are $6, children ages 5 to 12 are $4 and those under age of 5 eat free.

New summer market seeks local vendors

LAPEL — A new market at Indiana 13 and 32 is being planned for this summer. Jim Walker is seeking local, homegrown, homemade and home-produced vendors.

The market is planned for seven Saturdays, July 12 through Aug. 23. There are no contracts, no fees, and no limit on space.
