Arrest log

Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Saturday and Sunday, based on Madison County Jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers, but are not final until the Madison County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

• Miami County police arrested John E. Early, 53, of the 2500 block of Michael Court, Anderson, at 5:01 p.m. Saturday. Bond was set at $2,000 for contempt of court on child support.

• Chesterfield police arrested Randy D. Godfrey, 24, of the 600 block of East 21st Street, Anderson, at 8:35 p.m. Saturday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class D felony battery.

• Anderson police arrested Shavon T. Jackson, 24, of the 3700 block of Oaklawn Drive, Anderson, at 1:30 a.m. Sunday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor domestic battery.

• Anderson police arrested Sara L. Davis, 23, of the 500 block of Jackson Street, Anderson, at 1:44 a.m. Sunday. Bond was set at $500 for failure to appear in a civil case and contempt of court on a Class A misdemeanor.

• Anderson police arrested Stephen R. Jones Jr., 28, of the 6600 block of Turf Way, Anderson, at 1:48 a.m. Sunday. Bond was set at $4,000 for Class A misdemeanor domestic battery, Class A misdemeanor resisting law enforcement and failure to appear on a Class C felony.

• Madison County deputies arrested Tommy R. Cloud, 36, of the 2400 block of Cedar Street, Anderson, at 2:15 a.m. Sunday. Bond was set at $2,000 for contempt of court in a civil case.

• Chesterfield police arrested John C. Brissenden, 35, of the 200 block of Vine Street, Chesterfield, at 2:20 a.m. Sunday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class D felony criminal confinement, Class D felony strangulation, Class A misdemeanor domestic battery and probation violation on a Class D felony.

• Anderson police arrested Phillip J. Hoover, 29, of the 2900 block of Noble Street, Anderson, at 5:16 a.m. Sunday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor battery.
