Madison County Tea Party meets tonight

ALEXANDRIA — The Tea Party of Madison County meets tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the Emery Lee Auditorium in Beulah Park (4-H Fairgrounds).

Guest speakers are Dan Wehner, Madison County Friends of NRA, and Wayne Seybold, seeking the Republican Party nomination for state treasurer.

KWVA to meet on Monday

ANDERSON — The Anderson Tri-County Chapter 308 KWVA (Korean War Veterans Association) will meet on Monday at 12:30 p.m. at the Madison County Voiture 510, 40 & 8 Lodge, 1600 S. Rangeline Road, Anderson.

Steve Jackson, Madison County historian, will speak on the crash of the Navy dive bomber in 1944 in Forest Hills. Any veterans of the Korean War or veterans who served in Korea are invited to attend.

Tea party meeting set for Monday

MUNCIE — Muncie 9.12 Tea Party will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the Kennedy Library, 1700 W. McGalliard Road, Muncie.

Appeals panel denies Notre Dame new suit hearing

SOUTH BEND — An appeals court has denied the University of Notre Dame’s request for a new hearing in its lawsuit challenging part of the federal health care law that forces it to cover contraceptives in its health insurance for students and employees.
