Liberty Christian to offer full-day preschool classes

ANDERSON — Starting in the fall, Liberty Little Lions Center South will be offering full days for both their preschool and pre-K classes. Student dismissal and availability for pick up will be at either 11:30 a.m. or 2:40 p.m.

Enrollment has begun and the public is welcome to contact Liberty Christian School, Michelle Holmes at 644-7773 or michelle.holmes@libertyonline.org for more information.

Last year, Liberty Christian School expanded its preschool and pre-K classes by offering a Liberty Little Lions Center South at Ovid Community Church, 793 E. 600S, Anderson.

American Legion to hold elections

ANDERSON — The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 127 will hold nominations and elections at its Tuesday meeting at 6 p.m.

Wine Gala and Auction set for Saturday

ANDERSON — The Wine Gala and Auction to benefit the Gruenewald Historic House will be held at the Officers' Club, 2330 Crystal St., on Saturday at 5 p.m.

Tickets are $20 each (table of eight, $140) and will be available at the door.

'Spring Swing' concert Saturday at AMHS

ALEXANDRIA — The "Spring Swing" by the Alexandria Jazz Band and the Madison County Directors Band will be from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Alexandria-Monroe High School.

Cost is $5 per person.

Food will also be available from Pizza Hut of Alexandria.

All proceeds will go to the Alexandria Monroe Band.

ACS to host Dan's Fish Fry

ANDERSON — A Dan's Fish Fry will be held from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Anderson Christian School, 2625 Lindberg Road, Anderson.

Cost is $10 at the door for adults; $6 for children 6-12; and children 5 and under, eat free.

Tickets may be purchased in advance for $1 off at the school from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
