CASA selling tickets for custom-designed playhouse

ANDERSON — East Central Indiana CASA Inc. is selling raffle tickets now through Sept. 27 for a custom-designed children’s playhouse. The fundraiser is sponsored by Mustin Builders of Anderson, which is also designing and building the child’s playhouse.

The winner will be announced at the sixth annual recognition dinner on Monday, Sept. 30, at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino. The evening will pay tribute to three residents for their work for children within the community; Jan Kaye, director of special services at Elwood Community School Corp.; Tami Napier, chief deputy prosecutor for Hancock County; and Debbie Webb of Anderson Rotary Club. These three will be honored with the Jack L. Brinkman Community Service Award. The event will also recognize the volunteers of the year from Hancock and Madison counties, Connie Purcell of New Palestine and Shannon Benedict of Pendleton.

Raffle tickets are $2 a ticket, three for $5, and 25 for $20. For further information about the playhouse raffle, or to learn how to purchase a ticket, call the CASA office at 649-7215 or (317) 477-0034.
