Christmas City Chorus seeks vendors
MARION — Christmas City Chorus is seeking vendors and crafters to rent booth space at its Vendor and Craft Fair, on Saturday, Oct. 5, in Marion.
The event is indoors and will have food and door prizes. A 10-foot-by-10-foot booth space is available for $50 to benefit the chorus music education program. Interested vendors are asked to call the chorus message line at 677-SING or go to the website christmascitychorus.org for information and registration form.
Registration deadline is Sept. 19.
Quilts in the Park starts Sept. 4
PENDLETON — The Spring Valley Quilt Guild opens its annual Quilts In The Park Quilt Show Sept. 4-7 at the Pendleton Historical Museum in Falls Park in downtown Pendleton. The show is noted for the quilting craftsmanship it attracts by entrants from all over central Indiana and beyond. Visitors will be treated to a variety of quilts ranging from traditional to art quilts as well as quilted craft items.
Chances are available for this year’s batik raffle quilt that will be awarded along with a handcrafted quilt rack. The show also features a boutique sale of quilting fabric and notions at attractive prices. Admission fee is $3 to support the Pendleton Historical Museum.
‘Twilight of the Golds’ to open Friday
MUNCIE — Muncie Civic Studio Theatre will present “Twilight of the Golds” Sept. 6-7, 13-15, and 20-21 with performances at 8 p.m.
The Sunday matinee on Sept. 15 will be at 2 p.m. and include a talk back with the director after the show.
Tickets are $10 for adults and students. Seating is general admission. Order tickets online at Munciecivic.org or at the box office, Tuesday through Friday, noon to 6 p.m., or an hour before the show, or by calling 288-7529.
The theatre is located at 220 E. Main St., Muncie.
