Diggidy's pledges free treats to ACS

ANDERSON -- Diggidy’s has pledged up to $72,000 in free frozen treats to reward Anderson students.

In addition to the “Ounces for A’s” program, which offers one free ounce of soft-serve yogurt, ice cream, custard, sorbet or gelato for every “A” on a report card brought in, Diggidy’s is rewarding effort on a whole new level by partnering with Anderson Community Schools’ “Commitment To Consistency” program.

Every nine weeks, Diggidy’s will provide Anderson schools a four-ounce frozen treat voucher for every student who meets academic, attendance and behavior goals. Diggidy’s believes in rewarding struggling students who are trying to make a change by providing 16,000 ounces in discretionary awards for struggling students who have shown significant improvement, change and effort.

Diggidy’s guarantees Anderson schools a minimum 48,000 ounces in vouchers to give away over the 2013/14 school year, regardless of how many students achieve the minimum criteria.
