Toby Keith tickets on sale Friday

NOBLESVILLE — Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, May 17, for the Toby Keith Hammer Down Tour set for 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at Klipsch Music Center, Noblesville. The special guest will be Kip Moore.

Fireworks fundraiser dinner is Saturday

FRANKTON — An all-you-can-eat spaghetti and garlic bread dinner will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at the Heritage Days Building, corner of Church and Walnut streets. All proceeds benefit the 2013 fireworks display.

Cost is $6 for adults, $5 for children ages 5 to 12; those under the age of 5 eat free.

Legion serving hamburgers

ANDERSON — The American Legion Post 127, 4118 Columbus Ave., will be serving hamburgers and a drink on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $2. For more information call 644-9895.

Master Gardeners to discuss folklore

ANDERSON — The Madison County Master Gardeners Garden Talk “Plant Folklore, Romance, & Superstition” will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18, in the Delaware Room at the Anderson Public Library, 111 E. 12th St.

Amanda Smith from Hamilton County Parks and Recreation Department explores the uses of some of Indiana’s most beloved native plants. Romantic, funny, and just plain bizarre folklore will be discussed. This is the fourth in the group’s series of garden talks.

Survivor Voices in concert at Muncie

MUNCIE — “Survivor Voices: A Celebration Choir made up of all cancer survivors” will perform on Saturday, May 18, at 7:30 p.m. at the Muncie Civic Theatre, 216 E. Main St.

Tickets are on sale at the theater, Little Red Door or at the door the evening of the concert. All proceeds benefit Cancer Services of ECI-Little Red Door. For information, call 284-9063.

Spring Fling Dance slated for Saturday

ANDERSON — A Spring Fling Dance will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at the Rangeline Community Center, 1405 N. Rangeline Road. Proceeds will benefit the Madison County Middle School Academic League.

Disc jockey Buddy Patterson will provide the entertainment.

Roller derby title match is Saturday

ANDERSON — The Vicious Vixens & Bashing Bombshells will battle it out for the East Central Roller Derby championship title on Saturday, May 18, at the Anderson Roll Arena, 2711 Broadway.

Doors open at 5 p.m. with the match starting at 5:30 p.m. Tickets in advance are $10 for adults ($15 at the door), $5 for children ages 3-12, and free for children under 3.

Nationally acclaimed jump rope competition team Indy Air Bears will perform the halftime show. Jaybo from the Max Rocks radio station will be announcing the bout.
