DAR will meet Wednesday
ANDERSON — The Kikthawenund Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 230 W. Ninth St.
The program “Historic Christmas Carols” will be presented by Sonja Eddy and the Madison County Music Makers.
Fish dinner served at 40&8
ANDERSON — The Madison County 40&8 Voiture 510, 1600 S. Rangeline Road, Anderson, will host an all-you-can-eat fish dinner on Friday, Dec. 20, from 4 to 7 p.m.
Price is $8 and includes fish, green beans or baked beans, cole slaw and a roll. Carry-outs will be available.
Legion hosts breakfast Dec. 21
ANDERSON — The American Legion Post 127, 4118 Columbus Ave., will host an all-you-can-eat breakfast on Saturday, Dec. 21, from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Price is $6. Carry-outs will be available.
Joybells ring at library concert
NEW CASTLE — Bells will be ringing at New Castle-Henry County Public Library, 376 S. 15th St., at 7 p.m. The 2013 Noteworthy Performances series concludes with a concert featuring Kristine Stout, handbell soloist. Stout will perform a joyful variety Christmas program entitled “Joybells to the World” in the library’s auditorium.
Kristine Stout is a traveling handbell soloist based out of Clinton Township, Mich. She and her husband, Kirt, travel all over the United States sharing humor, energy, wit, and music. Stout’s handbell solos and digital keyboard orchestrations are her own creations.
This free concert is made possible by Friends of the Library. Friends will accept donations for future events. The 2014 Noteworthy series begins with a Jan. 23 concert featuring the Caribbean sounds of Island Breeze.
