---- — Eagles to host dinner and entertainment

ANDERSON — The Anderson Eagles Lodge 174, 1315 Meridian St., will host a sloppy joe dinner on Saturday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.

The menu includes sloppy joes, potato salad, cole slaw and chips. Cost is $5. A bake sale will also take place.

From 7:30 to 11:30 p.m., Quincy's Brass Band will entertain.

Toby Keith coming to Klipsch

NOBLESVILLE — Toby Keith will bring his "Hammer Down Tour" with special guest Kip Moore to Klipsch Music Center on Saturday, Sept. 7.

The concert gets under way at 7 p.m.

Labor Day Bash set for Monday

ANDERSON — The city of Anderson will host a Labor Day Bash on Monday at Shadyside Park.

Music will be provided by the Toy Factory Band from 2 to 5 p.m.; DJ K9 from 5 to 7 p.m.; and Living Proof Band from 7 to 10 p.m.

Bring your grills, hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and drinks.

Mainstage Theatre sets weekend auditions

ANDERSON — Anderson's Mainstage Theatre will host auditions for its production of "Love, Loss & What I Wore," from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Central Christian Church, 10th and Jackson streets.

Dessert-theatre performances of the production will be held Oct. 4-5 at The Edge.

Women ages 20 and up are encouraged to audition. Be prepared with a short monologue which need not be memorized.

All parts will be cast from the auditions.
