EDGEWOOD — Mayor Kevin Smith will be the guest speaker at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the lunch meeting of the Anderson Noon Exchange Club at The Edge Golf and Dining, 519 Golf Club Road.

Guests wishing to hear Mayor Smith talk about Anderson and what's ahead for the community are asked to make reservations by calling Bonny Clark at 617-5912. The lunch price is $12, payable at the door.

Healthcare Reform session today

ANDERSON — Community Hospital Anderson is offering a free informational session on the Healthcare Reform from 8:30 to 10 a.m. today at their education center, 1923 N. Madison Ave.

Introductory information will be provided about the Healthcare Reform, including who needs to get insurance, how to get insurance and what individuals need to do right now to prepare for the upcoming healthcare changes.

PHHS band competes Saturday

PENDLETON — The Pendleton Heights Marching Arabians will compete at the Decatur Central Marching Band Invitational Saturday at Decatur Central High School in Indianapolis. The band will take to the field at 7:55 p.m.
