This year, the parade will feature Shrine clubs from across the state, as well as the Madison County Desert Patrol, an antique car club, and a Corvette club.

Trophies will be awarded after the parade finishes.

Scouts launch popcorn drive

INDIANAPOLIS — The Crossroads of America Council Boy Scouts are kicking off their annual popcorn drive. Scouts throughout central Indiana will sell popcorn at stores, door-to-door and online Sept. 21-Nov. 2.

Proceeds from the popcorn drive are used to pay for equipment, activities and camps for Scouts, and 70 percent of popcorn purchases will directly support local Scouting programs.
