ALEXANDRIA — Calvary Baptist Church, 202 W. Tyler St., will host a "Together We Build" tenderloin fundraiser dinner from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8.

'God of Carnage' starts Thursday

MUNCIE — Muncie Civic Theatre will present "God of Carnage" in the Studio Theatre on Nov. 1-3 and Nov. 8-9.

Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 p.m. The Sunday matinee on Nov. 3 is at 2 p.m. and includes a talk back with the director after the show. Tickets are $10 for adults and students. Seating is general admission.

St. Joseph's bazaar set for Saturday

ELWOOD — St. Joseph’s Holiday Bazaar will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at 1306 South A St. Enter from parking lot door on Main Street.

More than 48 booths will host new, vintage and handcrafted items.

There will be raffles for Joe Rice glass paperweight lamp.

Lunch will be available from 10:30 1:30 p.m. and include chili, sloppy Joes or hot dogs with toppings.

Breakfast benefits DHS junior class

DALEVILLE — A community breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Daleville Lions Club, Sixth and Edward streets. Proceeds will benefit the Daleville High School junior class.

The all-you-can-eat meal will include eggs and sausage, pancakes, biscuits and sausage gravy, coffee, milk and orange juice for $6 a person.

Church to host Saturday fish fry

ALEXANDRIA — An all-you-can-eat Dan's Fish Fry will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Nazarene Church, 1401 S. Harrison St.

Adult tickets are $8.50 in advace and $9 at the door. Children 5-11, $6; and children under 5 eat free.

The menu includes all-you-can-eat fish and chicken, green beans, slaw, applesauce, iced tea, lemonade and coffee.

Carryout will be available. Pies and cakes will be available for an additional charge.

First Christian serving Saturday breakfast

ALEXANDRIA — An all-you-can-eat breakfast will be held from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church, 215 W. Berry St., by the Christian Men's Fellowship.

Pancakes, sausage, coffee, tea, juice and milk are on the menu.

Cost is $4 for adults and $2 for children and tickets may be purchased at the door.

Area classes of 1959 to meet for lunch

ANDERSON — The first Tuesday of the Month, area 1959 high school classmates and their guests are invited to lunch at Rigo's at Grandview Golf Course from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The next luncheon is Nov. 5.

MC Historical Society Genealogy Class

ANDERSON — The Genealogy Department of the Madison County Historical Society will conduct a beginning genealogy class on Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the Bowman Room in the History Center, 15 W. 11th St., downtown Anderson.

This class, which is open to everyone, will address how to start your research, the records to use, terminology used by genealogists, ascertaining the correct form of dates and the maiden names of women. There is no charge to attend this class.
