---- — Frankton fall bazaar set for Nov. 16

FRANKTON — The Frankton First United Methodist Church will host its fall bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 9 a.m. to noon.

There will be crafts, homemade candies, and homemade chicken noodles and scalloped chicken available by quarts and pints while they last, as well as a bake sale of dry noodles, cookies, pies, cakes and breads.

Proceeds go toward the Christmas Families, college care packages, scholarships, Beauty for Ashes and more.

The bazaar will be in the community room in The Factory across from the church at Eighth and Sigler streets.

Amputee support group hosts meeting

ANDERSON — Madison County Amputee Support Group will have its second free informational meeting on Thursday at 6 p.m. at Panera Bread.

This meeting is open to all amputees and their families and anyone in the community interested in helping and supporting the group.

This meeting will include information on living and thriving with disabilities by Amputee Coalition of America, a national organization that helps both new and long-term amputees with all aspects of life, health and healing.

Chicken and noodle luncheon Monday

ALEXANDRIA — Chicken and noodles will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Church Street Commons, 204 W. Church St., Alexandria.

Dinners are held the second Monday of the month.

Proceeds support Youth for Christ, Heaven's Wearhouse, the after school tutoring program, CSC Theater and other local ministries.

Fundraiser for Fire Rescue House

ANDERSON — On Thursday, Greek's Pizzeria, 6317 Martin Luther King Blvd., will host a fundraiser for the Madison County Fire Rescue House.

They will donate 15 percent of all eat-in and delivery orders from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Anderson Noon Exchange Club asks that you bring household items to donate, such as toilet paper, laundry and dish detergent, bath soap, shampoo, creme rinse, deodorant, toiletries, etc.
