Ravens fall at Wabash

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. — The Anderson University baseball team lost to Wabash College 7-6 on Monday night at Goodrich Ballpark.

With the score tied at 6-6 going into the bottom of the ninth, Wabash had its first two hitters reach on singles. After an intentional walk to load the bases, the next batter also walked to end the contest.

Jacob Craft led the Ravens offense with three hits, three runs and two RBIs, including two home runs and a double. His final home run in the eighth inning tied the game.

Ryan McPike and Austin Young had two hits and an RBI each, and Jacob Barnes added a hit and an RBI.

Starter Mark Garrett went the first six innings, allowing eight hits and five runs while striking out two. Cameron Dotson took the loss, allowing five hits and two runs over the final two innings.

AU (10-13) travels to Rose-Hulman on today at 6 p.m.
