Mildred (Tucker) Crull, 78, of Anderson, died June 17, 2006, at her residence, following an extended illness.
She was born Jan. 9, 1928, in Macon, Ga., and had resided in Anderson, since 1945.
She was a homemaker.
Mildred was a member of Elm Grove Christian Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia and husband Carl Benefiel of Anderson; son, Bob and wife Dorothy Crull of Summitville; sisters, Annette and husband Jay Phillips of Anderson, Peggy and husband Chet Mullins of Fort Wayne and Jackie Carter of Fairmount; brother, Jim and wife Joan Tucker of Chesterfield; special friend, Lindi Wilke; seven grandchildren, Bryon and wife Angie King, David and wife Missy Crull, Danny and wife Amber Crull, Priscilla Crull, Rachael Crull, Beth Lord and Wendy Wells; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A special thank you is extended to the Madison County Cancer Center.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Crull, whom she married in 1945; her parents, Emmitt W. and Nina (Chapman) Tucker; and siblings, William Tucker, Louise Watson and Christine Smith.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes and Crematory, South Chapel; 200 W. 53rd St.; Anderson, with Pastor Bill Hilligoss officiating. Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday evening at the South Chapel.
