ANDERSON, Ind. —
Edna P. Vaughn, 75, of Anderson, passed away on March 22, 2013, at her residence, following a brief illness.
She was born Dec. 15, 1937, in Mayland, Tenn., and resided most of her life in Anderson.
She retired from Guide Lamp Division of General Motors.
She was a member of East 38th Street Free Will Baptist Church in Anderson.
Edna is survived by her loving spouse, Joseph Vaughn of Anderson, Ind.; son, Bryan (Amy) Vaughn; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Billy Ray (Ida) Phillips, Juanita (“Crutch”) King and Bonnie Boyd,
Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Cecil (Jones) Phillips; and a sister, Pauline Roberts.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2013, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes and Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, Ind.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Pastors Bill Ledbetter and Eric Fox officiating. Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
