---- — ANDERSON — Aaron Cooley, 58, of Anderson, passed away at Community Hospital, Anderson.
Aaron was born Oct. 12, 1955, in Anderson, Ind., to Willie and Rosie Cooley.
Aaron was a graduate of Anderson High School. He loved the Lord and was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and was a member of the usher board. He enjoyed bowling, gardening, and collecting junk and staying active.
He leaves to cherish his memory children, Aaron D. Cooley, Corey (Pam) Cooley, Latasha Reed, Aaron A. Cooley, Aaronetta Cooley and Gertie Buckley; siblings, Willie (Joretha) Cooley, Amos Cooley, Johnnie (Pearlie) Cooley, Dewayne (Jeanette) Cooley, Theresia Taylor, Bernita (William) Hoosier, Sandra (Dennis) Long, Janis (Bobby Jo) Wilson; sister-in-law, Caroline Cooley; special friend, Gwendolyn Anderson; special daughters, Ja’neeka Melquisha Pearson and Osciyah Cummins; and a host of other family and friends who will miss him.
Aaron was proceeded in death by his parents, Willie and Rosie Cooley; siblings, L.C. Alma, M.C Eleanor, Joseph, and Larry Cooley; and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Services will be held Saturday at noon at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 1540 W. 16th St., Anderson, with the Rev. Edgar Woodall. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church.
