ANDERSON, Ind. —
Gregory A. “Greg” Cox, 61, of Anderson, went home to be with the Lord, on June 29, 2013, at his residence.
He was born May 9, 1952, in Anderson, the son of William Cox and Melba (McLaughlin) Cox Keesey.
He graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1971, and was a lifelong Anderson resident.
Greg retired from the city of Anderson’s Street Department, where he had worked as a truck driver.
He lived his faith in the Lord as an active and faithful member of the Whetstone Christian Church.
With his ability to remember names and dates, Greg was known as the family historian to his family and friends.
He is survived by his aunt, Helen McLaughlin of Bedford; nieces, Lisa Marie Riazi-Kermane of Plano Texas., Cara Cox of Wichita Kan., Corrinne Wilson of Chicago Ill.; cousin, Rhea Dawn Earle of Sullivan; and many good friends.
Greg was preceded in death by his father and mother; and a brother, Gary Cox.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, with the Rev. Steve Gettinger officiating. Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
